On 6/13/24, Marina Ritchie, a member of the Grill lab, defended her dissertation and completed the PhD program at UCI. Marina’s research focused on timely recruitment and adequate retention in Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials. During her time at UCI, Marina published 9 papers including 7 first-authored publications related to this work. On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, the trainee led Research and Education in Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (REMIND) held it's 15th annual Emerging Scientists Symposium. Marina Ritchie, a graduate student in the Grill Lab and Jean Paul Chadarevian, a postdoctoral scholar in the Blurton-Jones Lab, were recognized this year with the Carl W.
